BENEFÍCIO DE PRESTAÇÃO CONTINUADA: UMA ANÁLISE DA IMPLANTAÇÃO DO PROGRAMA BPC NA ESCOLA NO MUNICÍPIO DE COARI, NO INTERIOR DO AMAZONAS
O Benefício de Prestação Continuada – BPC é um direito individual, não contributivo, presente no âmbito da política de Assistência Social, pela qual é concedido um salário mínimo aos idosos com sessenta e cinco anos ou mais, assim como pessoas com deficiência de qualquer idade. O presente artigo tem por objetivo analisar a implantação do Programa BPC na Escola, no município de Coari-AM1. O programa visa garantir o acesso e a permanência do beneficiado na escola, criando uma rede de proteção social com a participação das áreas da saúde, educação e assistência social. A metodologia utilizada foi através de revisão bibliográfica e pela coleta de dados dos questionários aplicados às famílias dos beneficiários do programa, no município. Através dos resultados obtidos foi possível verificar que apenas 65,85% dos beneficiários do programa estão frequentando a escola, enquanto 15,85% nunca frequentaram a rede de ensino. Observou-se também que o tipo de deficiência prevalecente dentre os beneficiários no município de Coari, trata-se de deficiência física com 30,41% da amostra avaliada. Vale ressaltar que, a não continuidade do beneficiário em frequentar a escola é iniciativa própria dos pais ou familiares com 9,38%. Espera-se que as informações desse trabalho contribuam para a elaboração de estratégias de forma conjunta e articulada com as demais políticas públicas para o desenvolvimento de ações para a superação das barreiras que impedem a participação social plena dos usuários e de suas famílias nos serviços socioassistenciais.

Abstract:
The Continuous Benefit Benefit - BPC is an individual, non-contributory right, present within the scope of the Social Assistance policy, by which a minimum salary is granted to the elderly at the age of sixty-five or more, as well as persons with disabilities of any age. The purpose of this article is to analyze the implementation of the BPC Program in the School, in the municipality of Coari-AM1. The program aims to guarantee access and permanence of the beneficiary in the school, creating a network of social protection with the participation of the areas of health, education and social assistance. The methodology used was through a bibliographical review, through the collection of data from the questionnaires applied to the families of the beneficiaries of the program, in the municipality. Through the results obtained, it was possible to verify that only 65.85% of the beneficiaries of the program are attending school, while 15.85% never attended the school network. It was also observed that the type of disability prevalent in the municipality of Coari is physical disability with 30.41% of the sample evaluated. It is worth noting that the non-continuity of the beneficiary attending school is the parent's or family's own initiative with 9.38%. It is hoped that the information of this work contributes to the elaboration of strategies in a joint way and articulated with the other public policies for the development of actions to overcome the barriers that prevent the full social participation of the users and their families in the social assistance services.
