“BATEU, LEVOU!”: ESTUDO SOBRE A VIOLÊNCIA ENTRE ADOLESCENTES ESCOLARES NO ESTADO DE MINAS GERAIS
O problema da violência na escola transcende o olhar sobre o presente e avança a percepção para o homem do futuro, uma vez que os processos de internalização e externalização são fenômenos individuais, que perpetram a existência do sujeito e refletem nas suas relações sociais. Identificando a escola como lócus da formação de significados nas interações sociais este artigo objetiva descrever a prevalência de exposição à violência entre adolescentes de escolas públicas do Estado de Minas Gerais e elucidar que tais exposições estão associadas com atitudes violentas baseadas no gênero e com problemas de internalização e externalização. É um estudo descritivo quantitativa com análise de regressão logística bivariada. Utilizou-se o banco de dados públicos, coletados e disponibilizados pelo Centro de Estudos de Criminalidade e Segurança Pública (CRISP) do Estado de Minas Gerais. Para análise, considerou-se nove variáveis que explicassem a associação entre o sofrimento vivenciado e o comportamento externalizado. Os resultados demonstram que 32% dos meninos e 44% das meninas viviam na pobreza. Ambos relataram experiências de sofrimento de violência física, praticaram bullying, furtaram ou roubaram e agrediram fisicamente colegas. As experiências com algum tipo de droga estavam associadas ao sofrimento de bullying na escola e muito pouco às condições de pobreza. A falta de rigor na aplicação das leis limita a qualidade de vida dos adolescentes e compromete a integridade física, social e psicológica.

Abstract:
The problem of violence at school transcends the view of the present and advances the perception of the future for man, since the processes of internalization and externalization are individual phenomena, which perpetuate the subject's existence and reflect on their social relationships. Identifying the school as the locus of meaning formation in social interactions, this article aims to describe the prevalence of exposure to violence among adolescents in public schools in the State of Minas Gerais and to clarify that such exposures are associated with gender-based violent attitudes and internalization problems. and outsourcing. It is a descriptive quantitative study with bivariate logistic regression analysis. We used the public database, collected and made available by the Center for the Study of Crime and Public Security (CRISP) of the State of Minas Gerais. For analysis, nine variables that explained the association between the suffering experienced and externalized behavior were considered. The results show that 32% of boys and 44% of girls lived in poverty. Both reported experiences of suffering physical violence, engaged in bullying, stole or robbed and physically assaulted colleagues. Experiences with some type of drug were associated with suffering from bullying at school and very little with conditions of poverty. Lack of rigor in applying the laws limits the quality of life of adolescents and compromises their physical, social and psychological integrity.
