Abstract: The didactic planning for handball is organized over eight progressive weeks, aiming to teach the technical and tactical fundamentals of the discipline within the school context. The approach follows an active and cooperative methodology that promotes game understanding, equal participation, and holistic student development. Each week focuses on a specific technical component, including a related warm-up and a sequence of fifteen progressive activities. Content areas include general rules, basic stance and movement, passing, receiving, shooting, defensive play, and tactical application in small-sided games. Accessible materials such as foam balls, cones, and vests are used, and activities are adapted to different educational levels. The plan encourages meaningful learning through tasks that foster coordination, spatial awareness, decision-making, and teamwork. Practice is oriented toward respect for game roles, self-regulation, and cooperative experiences, with competition taking a secondary role. In the final week, a small-sided game is proposed to integrate the knowledge acquired, enabling practical application of developed skills. Values such as empathy, commitment, shared effort, and coexistence are reinforced. Through this approach, handball is presented as an effective educational tool that promotes motor, cognitive, and social-emotional development, affirming its importance within school physical education.
