Abstract: The text's main objective is to analyze the disparity between technological advances and the traditional educational approach in classrooms. The transformation brought about by the internet and technological devices in the way students access and interact with knowledge stands out. Furthermore, we seek to highlight the need for a change in teaching didactics, proposing the adoption of active methodologies that involve students in a participatory manner. Cooperative learning is presented as a specific approach, emphasizing collaboration between students and the role of the teacher as a facilitator of the educational process. The text also highlights the importance of raising students' awareness about the critical use of technology, considering the associated challenges, such as the spread of false information. In short, the aim is to promote reflection on the need to adapt the educational system to technological advances, aiming for more engaging and meaningful learning. To achieve these objectives, in turn, a bibliographic review methodology was used.
