AVALIAÇÃO SUBJETIVA GLOBAL DE UMA OFICINA SOBRE SAÚDE AUDITIVA EM UM EVENTO DE EXTENSÃO OFERECIDO EM UM CAMPUS UNIVERSITÁRIO
As práticas extensionistas tem um importante papel no que diz respeito às contribuições que pode trazer a comunidade, favorecendo o diálogo, a propagação de conhecimentos e criação de ações socioeducativas. O presente estudo visa apresentar os principais resultados obtidos com a realização de uma oficina oferecida em evento promovido no Campus UFRJ-Macaé Professor Aloísio Teixeira. Realizou-se uma oficina no evento “Verão com Ciência” intitulada: “Surdez e próteses auditivas”, conduzida pela equipe (educadores) do projeto Saudi nas Escolas da UFRJ/Campus Macaé. As seguintes etapas foram realizadas: (a) acolhimento; (b) aula por meio de material expositivo ilustrativo, abordaram-se os temas: anatomia da orelha, desenvolvimento da linguagem, definição de surdo e pessoa com deficiência auditiva, a importância da Libras, cuidados com a audição e aparelhos auditivos; (c) demonstração dos diversos tipos de aparelhos auditivos e sua manutenção. Uma avaliação subjetiva global da oficina, segundo escala hedônica EXCELENTE, BOA, REGULAR e RUIM foi respondida pelos educadores. Abaixo da escala, havia um campo “Considerações” no qual o membro da equipe deveria descrever suas considerações gerais. A atividade contou com a participação de 6 educadores e 47 educandos. Segundo a avaliação subjetiva global, notou-se uma expressiva participação e interesse dos educandos, sendo assinalado em 85,7% o item excelente. Em “Considerações” foi destacada a ocorrência de um maior direcionamento da atividade para a prática médica. Conclui-se que a oficina despertou o interesse e participação dos educandos, todavia, a sua abordagem deve ser revista para que atenda a todos os perfis de educandos.

Abstract:
Extension practices play an important role with regard to the contributions that the community can bring, promoting dialogue and dissemination of knowledge and the creation of socio-educational actions. This study aims to present the main results obtained with the realization of the workshop offered at an event promoted at Campus UFRJ-Macaé Professor Aloísio Teixeira. A workshop was held at the event “Summer with Science” entitled: “Deafness and hearing aids”, conducted by the Saudi project team (educators) at the UFRJ/Campus Macaé Schools. The following steps were performed: (a) reception; (b) through illustrative expository material, the following topics were addressed: ear anatomy, language development, definition of the deaf and hearing impaired, the importance of Libras, hearing care and hearing aids; (c) Demonstration of the various types of hearing aids and their maintenance. An overall subjective assessment of the workshop, according to the excellent, good, regular and bad hedonic scale was answered by the educators. Below the scale was a “Considerations” field in which the team member should describe his general considerations. The activity was attended by 6 educators and 47 students. According to the global subjective assessment, there was a significant participation and interest of students, with 85.7% being the excellent item. In “Considerations”, the occurrence of a greater direction of the activity for medical practice was highlighted. It is concluded that the workshop aroused the interest and participation of learners, however, its approach should be revised to meet all learner profiles.
