AVALIAÇÃO SISTEMÁTICA DOS TESTES VDRL E FTA-ABS PARA SÍFILIS E A PREVALÊNCIA DE CASOS REAGENTES NO ESTADO DO ACRE NOS ANOS DE 2014 E 2015
Introdução: A sífilis é uma doença infectocontagiosa. Ela pode ser transmitida por via sexual, de mãe para filho durante a gestação e pelo contato com sangue infectado. Existem muitos testes que auxiliam no diagnóstico da sífilis. Neste trabalho, serão abordados os dois principais testes, o VDRL e o FTA-Abs. Objetivo: Analisar e discutir os resultados dos exames VDRL e FTA-Abs realizados nos anos 2014 e 2015 no estado do Acre. Procedimentos metodológicos: Trata-se de uma pesquisa do tipo descritiva, de abordagem quantitativa e qualitativa a partir de dados secundários. Resultados: Observou-se o aumento do número de testes realizados e testes com resultados reagentes nos anos 2014 e 2015, evidenciando um aumento de casos confirmados no estado do Acre. Conclusão: Devido ao aumento progressivo da patologia abordada, a busca por atendimento e resultados reagentes para sífilis tem se mostrado significativamente elevados, evidenciando a facilidade de contrair a sífilis. Porém, com os avanços dos testes laboratoriais é possível realizar diagnósticos precisos.

Abstract:
Introduction: The syphilis is an infectious contagious disease. It can be sexually trasmitted, from mother to child during pregnancy and also by contact with infected blood. There are many tests that help in the diagnosis of syphilis. In this work, the two main tests are approached, the VDRL and the FTA-Abs. Objective: To analyze and discuss the results of the VDRL and the FTA-Abs exams performed in the years 2014 and 2015 in the state of Acre. Methodological Procedures: It is a descriptive research, of quantitative and qualitative approach from secundary datas. Results: It was observed an increasement in the numbers of the tests performed and tests with reagent results in the years 2014 and 2015, evidencing a rise in confirmed cases in the state of Acre. Conclusion: Due to the progressive enlargement of the pathology approached, the search for service and reagent results for shyphilis has been shown significantly high, evidencing the facility of contracting syphilis. But, with the advances of the laboratory tests, it is possible to perform accurate diagnosis.
