AVALIAÇÃO PSICOLÓGICA NOS INDIVÍDUOS APÓS CIRURGIA BARIÁTRICA: UMA REVISÃO DOS ESTUDOS
Trata-se de uma revisão sistemática
da literatura de modo a descrever e analisar os
resultados da avaliação psicológica feita nos
indivíduos que realizaram cirurgia bariátrica.
Foi realizado um levantamento de artigos
científicos, trabalhos de dissertação e teses.
As fontes da pesquisa foram Portal da Capes
e Google Acadêmico. O período investigado foi
de janeiro de 2007 a março de 2018. A seleção
e a análise das publicações foram feitas por
dois juízes no mesmo intervalo de tempo de
forma independente. Foram aplicados critérios
de inclusão e exclusão, foram incluídos 06
trabalhos. Todos os trabalhos têm como modelos
explicativos ou a justificativa do possível elo
entre obesidade e as sintomatologias das
doenças psiquiátricas. Os resultados apontam
para necessidade de melhor avaliar o tempo e
os efeitos da cirurgia. A maioria dos trabalhos
não encontrou associação entre as doenças
e/ou distúrbios relacionados à cirurgia. Os
instrumentos utilizados não passam por análise
de adequação ou de administração quanto à
quantidade de testes, sendo esse um problema
de qualidade. Conclui-se que sejam necessários
maiores investimentos as pesquisas que
corroborem com práticas profissionais da
psicologia que melhor demonstrem sua função
e possam vir a contribuir com os indivíduos que
passam pela cirurgia bariátrica.

Abstract:
This is a systematic review of the literature in order to describe and analyze
the results of the psychological evaluation done in the individuals who underwent
bariatric surgery. There was a survey of scientific articles, dissertation works and
theses. The sources of the research were Portal da Capes and Google Scholar. The
period investigated was from January 2007 to March 2018. The selection and analysis
of the publications were done by two judges in the same time interval independently.
Inclusion and exclusion criteria were applied, 06 papers were included. All the papers
have explanatory models or the justification of the possible link between obesity and
the symptoms of psychiatric diseases. The results point to the need to better evaluate
the time and effects of surgery. Most of the studies did not find an association between
diseases and / or disorders related to surgery. The instruments used do not undergo
analysis of adequacy or administration in terms of the number of tests, which is a quality
problem. We conclude that more investments are needed in research that corroborates
with professional practices of psychology that best demonstrate its function and can
contribute to individuals who undergo bariatric surgery.
