Abstract: The paper deals with the perceptions of professors and students of the Administration course on the difficulties and challenges of the teaching and learning evaluation process, and their suggestions for improving evaluation practice. It aimed to identify the difficulties, their respective challenges and suggestions for teachers and students. The methodology used was based on the search for information through three questionnaires, two with open questions for professors and students respectively and one with closed questions for another group of professors in the course. The third questionnaire was elaborated with the indicators indicated by the first two instruments. In the result, seven difficulties indicators emerged with their respective challenges and suggestions, which led the research professors to position themselves affirmatively or negatively on these. The difficulties and challenges, in general, had low adherence, but the suggestions were well accepted. It was concluded that most teachers believe that they do not have major difficulties in the evaluation process, but high percentages accepted the suggestions made to improve the evaluation activity.
