AVALIAÇÃO GERIÁTRICA DE UM IDOSO EM UMA INSTITUIÇÃO DE LONGA PERMANÊNCIA NA CIDADE DE FORTALEZA-CEARÁ
Este trabalho é um estudo de caso realizado por duas alunas do quinto ano do curso de Medicina da Universidade de Fortaleza (UNIFOR) sob supervisão da professora da disciplina de Assistência Integrada à Saúde e apoio de dois alunos egressos da universidade, sendo um médico da atenção básica e outra residente do segundo ano de clinica médica. O estudo foi realizado a partir de três visitas em uma Instituição de Longa Permanência para idosos localizada na cidade Fortaleza, no estado do Ceará. Ao longo das visitas foi coletada a história de vida do paciente, permitindo a construção de genograma e aplicados testes de avaliação cognitiva e funcional a fim de elaborar um plano de intervenção individualizado e adequado.

Abstract:
This paper is a case study conducted by two fifth-year medical students from the University of Fortaleza (UNIFOR) under the supervision of a physician in the discipline of Integrated Health Care and the collaboration of two previous students from the university, a primary care doctor and a second-year medical resident. The study was developed from three visits to an institution for the elderly located in the city of Fortaleza, in the state of Ceará. Throughout the visits the patient's life history was collected, allowing the elaboration of a genogram and the application of cognitive and functional evaluation tests in order to provide an individualized and adequate intervention plan.
