Este artigo expõe de forma esclarecedora a importância da gestão de resíduos sólidos adotada pela empresa CPTM (Companhia Paulista de Trens Metropolitanos), com o objetivo de avaliar a eficiência operacional e atender à Política Nacional de Resíduos Sólidos incisiva da Lei nº 12.305/10. Visando analisar os impactos da poluição e controle do descarte adequado e reaproveitamento dos resíduos sólidos em nossa sociedade, e nos processos da empresa do setor de transporte de passageiros e cargas. A metodologia utilizada é a abordagem bibliográfica, com o estudo de caso na empresa CPTM (Companhia Paulista de Trens Metropolitanos). Nota-se que com a satisfação da empresa investigada, há importância em aplicar tais conceitos já mencionados, a fim de promover estratégias sustentáveis e otimizar o uso desses recursos, minimizando o desperdício e danos ecológicos.

  • Abstract: This article exposes in an enlightening way the importance of solid waste management adopted by the company CPTM (Companhia Paulista de Trens Metropolitanos), with the objective of evaluating operational efficiency and complying with the incisive National Solid Waste Policy of Law No. 12,305/10. Aiming to analyze the impacts of pollution and control of the proper disposal and reuse of solid waste in our society, and in the processes of the company in the passenger and cargo transport sector. The methodology used is the bibliographic approach, with the case study in the company CPTM (Companhia Paulista de Trens Metropolitanos). It is noted that with the satisfaction of the investigated company, it is important to apply such concepts already mentioned, in order to promote sustainable strategies and optimize the use of these resources, minimizing waste and ecological damage.
