AVALIAÇÃO DO PERÍMETRO URBANO DE GUARAPUAVA-PR, UTILIZANDO ÍNDICES DE VEGETAÇÃO

• Abstract: The present work aimed to apply the SR, NDVI, SAVI and EVI 2 vegetation indices in the urban perimeter of Guarapuava, Paraná, to measure the values that occur in three green areas, serving this study as a tool for municipal managers to use in favor of of the environment and conservation of these areas. This work is justified by the lack of studies with the purpose that was proposed for the area under study, as well as for the year in question - 2021. The results show the maps and values of the indexes of the urban perimeter of Guarapuava, and highlighted also in the mapping three urban green areas, the Parque Municipal das Araucárias, green area to the northwest and southeast. In addition to spatial variability, minimum and maximum values, mean, standard deviation and coefficient of variation were determined. In the final considerations, it was noted that working with more than one vegetation index was advantageous, as each index fulfilled its role in the urban perimeter by differentiating areas with and without vegetation, as well as the spatial variation of vegetation cover, from the smallest to the largest. In the maps presented, it was possible to visualize the saturation of the NDVI, as well as to briefly present what this theme is about. It was determined that the NDVI, SAVI and EVI 2 indices had a lower CV than the SR.
