Abstract: vThe study was conducted in an experimental area at the Luiz Meneghel/UENP Campus in the municipality of Bandeirantes, Paraná, during the second crop of 2022/23. The objective of this study was to evaluate the non-preferential feeding behavior of the fall armyworm of Spodoptera frugiperda in different cultivars of conventional corn. Experimental design, randomized blocks with six treatments and four replications. The Scott-Knott test was used to compare the means. Evaluations were carried out at 14; 21; 28; 35 and 42 days after plant emergence (DAE), and taken 10 plants at random/plot, opened the cartridges and counted the number of fall armyworms, large and small, found alive. The results allowed us to conclude that: the cultivars AL BANDEIRANTES, followed by IPR 164, K 7600, AG 3320 and IPR 216 were the most preferred, while the cultivar P 3898 had the lowest food preference for S. Frugiperda. The experiment was not conducted until harvest.
