AVALIAÇÃO DE EFEITOS DO PROGRAMA AUXÍLIO INCLUSÃO DIGITAL (MODALIDADE I) SOBRE A PERMANÊNCIA E DESEMPENHO DOS DISCENTES DA UNIVERSIDADE ESTADUAL DO PIAUÍ: UM ESTUDO COM OS BENEFICIADOS DO CAMPUS DE FLORIANO
Este artigo trata-se de uma avaliação de efeitos do programa auxílio inclusão digital – modalidade I ofertado pela assistência estudantil na Universidade Estadual do Piauí sobre a permanência e desempenho discente. Metodologicamente foi realizada um um estudo de caso com discentes contemplados com o programa do Campus da cidade de Floriano a partir de uma pesquisa quantitativa e documental e os dados foram analisados com uso de porcentagens simples. Sobre a permanência no período 2020.1 evidenciou-se que 98% dos contemplados permaneceram na universidade e houve uma melhora no rendimento acadêmico de 0,97% em relação ao período anterior (2019.2). Avalia-se que o auxílio pode ter contribuído para além dos objetivos iniciais, tendo efeito positivo na permanência e no desempenho discente.

Abstract:
This article is an evaluation of the effects of the digital inclusion aid program - modality I offered by the student assistance program at the State University of Piauí on students' permanence and performance. Methodologically, a case study was carried out with students who benefited from the program at the Floriano campus, using a quantitative and documental research, and the data were analyzed using simple percentages. About the permanence in the period 2020.1 it was evidenced that 98% of those contemplated remained in the university and there was an improvement in academic performance of 0.97% in relation to the previous period (2019.2). It is evaluated that the aid may have contributed beyond the initial objectives, having a positive effect on the permanence and performance of the students.
