Abstract: It is known that animals are one of the best company for man and also they can be great friends, thus overcoming the domestication barrier. A Animal Assisted Activity (AAA) can be performed to provide ludic moments, reduce the attention deficit and to stimulate learning of children, providing well-being throughout the child-animal interaction. Studies demonstrated that AAA decreases loneliness, encourages exercise. To the sessions were divided into three moments: in the first, the interaction of the children with stuffed animals similar to the animal that would participate in the AAA, in the respective session; in the second moment, the children interacted with the animals real and in the third, ludic activities were carried out such as paintings and collages referring to the animal participating in the session. There was also an evaluation of the physiological parameters of animals, as well as evaluation of behavior and reaction of the animals participating in the AAA, such as heart rate (HR), heart rate respiratory (FR), rectal temperature (TR), surface temperature (TS) and pulse (P), before, during and after the animals have contact with children. The AAA Sessions showed positive results in children. It is worth remembering that child-animal interaction helps to develop in children knowledge, affection and respect for animals, reflecting positively on the well-being of both. Such reflexes can help in the determination of the value criterion, in the characteristics and personality of the children. Regarding the animals, signs of stress occurred during part of the activities, but most remained alert, happy and motivated when interacting positively with children.
