AVALIAÇÃO DA PERCEPÇÃO AMBIENTAL SOBRE AS QUESTÕES DE USOS MÚLTIPLOS DA ÁGUA DA COMUNIDADE RIBEIRINHA DO CÓRREGO SOBERBO DA SERRA DO CIPÓ/SANTANA DO RIACHO-MG
A avaliação da percepção ambiental
sobre questões de usos múltiplos da água
do córrego de uma comunidade ribeirinha,
localizada na Serra do Cipó/Santana do RiachoMG é o principal objetivo do presente trabalho.
Por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas, foi
possível constatar que a população ribeirinha
ainda guarda memória afetiva sobre os usos
diretos da água, que eram feitos no passado.
No entanto, devido às condições atuais de
degradação, os entrevistados manifestaram
certa compreensão sobre a necessidade de uma
futura restauração do curso d’água para que
sejam garantidos seus usos múltiplos. Porém
a falta de informações mostra a ausência da
consciência ambiental, o que deveria ser muito
debatido por ser uma região onde a economia
está diretamente ligada ao turismo. O que
traria benefícios tanto para o meio ambiente
quanto para os moradores que têm grande
proximidade e afeto com o córrego. Diversos
aspectos são debatidos ao longo da pesquisa
afim de evidenciar a visão ambiental que os
moradores têm do córrego e as consequências
de seus usos.

Abstract:
The evaluation of environmental
perception on multiple water use issues in the
stream of a riverine community located in the
Serra do Cipó / Santana do Riacho-MG is the
main objective of this work. Through semistructured interviews, it was possible to verify
that the riverine population still has an affective
memory about the direct uses of water, which
were made in the past. However, due to the
current degradation conditions, respondents
expressed some understanding about the need
for a future restoration of the watercourse in order
to guarantee their multiple uses. But the lack of
information shows the absence of environmental
awareness, which should be much debated as
a region where the economy is directly linked
to tourism. This would bring benefits both to the
environment and to the residents who have a
lot of closeness and affection for the stream.
Several aspects are discussed throughout the
research in order to highlight the environmental
vision that the residents have of the stream and
the consequences of its uses.
