AVALIAÇÃO DA INCIDÊNCIA DE SÍFILIS CONGÊNITA NO TOCANTINS E SUA CORRELAÇÃO COM O PERFIL EPIDEMIOLÓGICO MATERNO DE 2017 A 2019.
A sífilis congênita pode ser definida como infecção fetal pelo Treponema pallidum que ocorre por transmissão via transplacentária ou por contato direto com uma lesão no momento do parto (transmissão vertical), podendo ser transmitida em qualquer fase da gestação. Este é um estudo epidemiológico, com caráter observacional, que objetivou analisar e discutir os casos de sífilis congênita no Tocantins em relação ao perfil epidemiológico materno, no período de janeiro de 2017 a dezembro de 2019. Os dados analisados foram óbitos através da plataforma DATASUS. Assim, buscou-se interpretar os dados e seus resultados correlacionando-os com informações pertinentes e comentários aceca do tema, afim de compreender a evolução dos casos de sífilis congênita em relação ao perfil epidemiológico materno ao longo dos anos, com intuído de identificar possíveis falhas a serem corrigidas no manejo desses pacientes.

Abstract:
Congenital syphilis can be defined as fetal infection by Treponema pallidum that occurs through transplacental transmission or through direct contact with a lesion at the childbirth (vertical transmission), and can be transmitted at any stage of pregnancy. This is an epidemiological study, with an observational character, which aimed to analyze and discuss the cases of congenital syphilis in Tocantins in relation to the maternal epidemiological profile, from January 2017 to December 2019. The analyzed data were through the DATASUS platform. Thus, we sought to interpret the data and its results by correlating them with relevant information and comments on the topic, in order to understand the evolution of cases of congenital syphilis in relation to the maternal epidemiological profile over the years, with the intention of identifying possible flaws to be corrected in the management of these patients.
