AVALIAÇÃO DA EFETIVIDADE DE BOMBAS DE INFUSÃO NA TERAPIA INTENSIVA: UMA REVISÃO DE LITERATURA
INTRODUÇÃO: O avanço
tecnológico em saúde é indispensável
para melhoria da qualidade e segurança
da assistência ao paciente. As Bombas de
Infusão (BI) inteligentes (“Smart Pumps”) são
um dos principais equipamentos utilizados na
terapêutica destes pacientes. Considerando-se
aspectos relativos à Avaliação de Tecnologias
em Saúde (ATS), coube ressaltar a métrica da
efetividade. OBJETIVO: Identificar e analisar
na literatura fatores relacionados à usabilidade
destes dispositivos no mundo real de uso.
METODOLOGIA: Revisão Integrativa da
literatura, junto às bases de dados Medline,
Cinahl, Web of Science e Lilacs. Foram
selecionados artigos em português, inglês
e espanhol, com disponibilidade gratuita e
integral, no recorte temporal de 2013-2019.
Encontrou-se 121 artigos, sendo selecionados
17, que atenderam aos critérios de elegibilidade.
RESULTADOS: Apesar dos inúmeros
benefícios obtidos com a incorporação das
tecnologias ao trabalho da enfermagem, é
necessária a identificação dos fatores humanos
que interferem em sua comunicação com os
aparelhos, ou seja, qual a dificuldade percebida
na equipe de enfermagem no quesito interação
com as máquinas. CONCLUSÃO: Estudos
de enfermagem sobre ATS, no contexto da
efetividade, ainda são muito incipientes, logo
este estudo surge como uma necessidade para
os serviços de saúde e seus gestores na tomada
de decisão quanto a incorporação e difusão das
bombas de infusão inteligentes.

Abstract:
INTRODUCTION: The
technological advancement in health is
indispensable for improving the quality and
safety of patient care. The Smart Pumps
are some of the main equipment used in the
therapy of the patients. Considering the aspects
related to Health Technology Assessment
(HTA), the effectiveness metric was highlighted.
OBJECTIVE: To identify and analyze the factors
related to the usability of these devices in the
real world. METHODOLOGY: Integrative literature review with the databases Medline,
Cinahl, Web of Science and Lilacs. Articles in Portuguese, English and Spanish, from
2013 to 2019 and with free and full availability, were selected.121 articles were found
and 17 were selected according to the eligibility criteria. RESULTS:
Despite the numerous benefits obtained from the incorporation of technologies in
nursing work, the identification of the human factors that interfere in the communication
with the devices is required, i.e., the perceived difficulty in the nursing team regarding
the interaction with the machines. CONCLUSION: Nursing studies about the HTA, in the
context of effectiveness, are still very incipient, so this study emerges as a necessity for
health services and for the managers in decision making regarding the incorporation
and diffusion of smart infusion pumps.
