AVALIAÇÃO CLÍNICA E DE BEM-ESTAR DOS EQUÍDEOS DE TRABALHO DA ZONA RURAL DE URUTAÍ-GO
10 propriedades da zona rural de
Urutaí-Goiás. Realizou-se em cada propriedade
a anamnese e exame físico, pesquisa de
hematozoários, contagem de ovos por grama
de fezes, além da verificação das condições
de manejo realizadas pelos proprietários. O
presente trabalho objetivou analisar diversos
fatores relacionados ao bem-estar dos equídeos
de trabalho da zona rural de Urutaí – GO por
meio de avaliação clínica, hematológica,
coproparasitológica e de manejo. Conclui-se
que os equídeos de trabalho da zona rural de
Urutaí-Goiás são submetidos à práticas de
manejo adequadas, respeitado as condições de
bem-estar animal.

Abstract:
We evaluated 20 working equidae
from 10 properties in the rural area of UrutaíGoiás. Anamnesis and physical examination,
haematozoa survey, egg count per gram of
feces, and verification of the management
conditions performed by the owners were carried
out in each property. The present study aimed to
analyze several factors related to the welfare of
working equidae from rural Urutaí - GO through
clinical, hematological, coproparasitological and
management evaluation. It is concluded that the
equidae of work of the rural area of Urutaí-Goiás
are submitted to appropriate management
practices, respecting the conditions of animal
welfare.
