AUXINAS: ASPECTOS GERAIS E UTILIZAÇÕES PRÁTICAS NA AGRICULTURA
A auxina é considerada um hormônio
vital a planta, sendo sintetizada em locais de
crescimento ativo, atuando no desenvolvimento
e diferenciação celular. Foi o primeiro hormônio
vegetal descoberto, sendo sua primeira
evidência relatada no ano de 1980. No grupo das
auxinas existem alguns hormônios endógenos,
entre eles o mais abundante é o ácido indolil3-acético (AIA). Muitos fatores podem controlar
o nível de auxina nas plantas, como o estado
nutricional e fatores ambientais. As auxinas já
possuem espaço no mercado e seu uso vem
contribuindo com a resolução de problemas na
agricultura, como enraizamento de estacas e
o desbaste de frutos. Esse fitormônio merece
atenção especial nos estudos da fisiologia
vegetal, pois apresenta grande importância em
diversos processos fisiológicos da planta.

Abstract:
The auxin is considered a vital
hormone to the plant, being synthesized in
places of active growth, acting in the cellular
development and differentiation. It was the
first plant hormone discovered, being its first
evidence related to the year 1980. In the auxin
group there are some endogenous hormones,
among them the most abundant is indolyl-3-
acetic acid (AIA). Many factors can control
the level of auxin in plants, such as nutritional
status and environmental factors. The auxins
already have space in the market and its use
has contributed to the problems’ resolutions
in agriculture, like rooting of cuttings and the
thinning of fruits. This phytohormone deserves special attention in studies of plant physiology, since it has great importance in the
physiological processes of the plant
