Abstract: The aim is to present to the reader a structural place for autism within Freudo-Lacanian psychoanalytic theory, as well as tensions regarding mistaken diagnoses of autism and their effects on the structuring of the subject. To this end, clinical vignettes are presented that allude to the assumptions of an intervention based on the potential of the subjects' singularities. The theoretical support was based on searches for authors who reflect on the autistic structure in contemporary times, as well as the contributions of management with the family, school and the potential of musical education in the clinic. The results showed us that erroneous diagnoses postulate marks of an aggressive tone in the subject's psychic structure, as well as demonstrating through musical education that the subject is a power and not a symptom to be eliminated, diagnosed, often excluded in methodologies. which aim to appease differences and school metrics and a positivist and neoliberal psychology.
