AUMENTO DA PRODUTIVIDADE NO SETOR DE TRATAMENTO TÉRMICO ATRAVÉS DA METODOLOGIA KAIZEN
O sequenciamento da produção se
dá de fundamental importância em indústrias,
uma vez que é através dessa metodologia que
se constrói a melhor sequencia de produção
respeitando as restrições técnicas, gargalos,
carga e capacidade de produção. De posse
desses conceitos o presente artigo objetiva
responder à seguinte questão: é possível
aumentar a produtividade, no setor de tratamento
térmico, sem ter a necessidade de contratar
recurso extra, realizando um evento Kaizen?
Como ferramenta fundamental ao projeto, o
sistema APS (Advanced Planning Scheduling)
foi utilizado, sendo necessário alimentá-lo
com informações precisas e confiáveis sobre
o processo. Os aspectos metodológicos
seguidos foram os da pesquisa-ação e quanto a
abordagem, esta foi quantitativa, por se basear
em informações numéricas para as tomadas
de decisões. Como resultado foi obtido uma
redução de dois dias de ciclo de produção
no setor resultando em um ganho de 250 mil
dólares.

Abstract:
The sequencing of production
is fundamental in industries; through this
methodology the best sequence of production
is built, respecting the technical restrictions,
bottlenecks, load and production capacity. With
these concepts in mind, the present article aims
to answer the following question: Is it possible
to increase productivity in the heat treatment
sector, without having to hire extra resources,
performing a Kaizen event? As a fundamental
tool for the project, the APS (Advanced
Planning Scheduling) system was used, and
it was necessary to feed it with accurate and
reliable information about the process. The
methodological aspects followed were those
of action research and the approach was
quantitative because it was based on numerical
information for decision-making. As a result a
reduction of two days of production cycle in the
sector was obtained resulting in a gain of 250
thousand dollars.
