ATUAÇÃO FISIOTERÁPICA NA LEUCEMIA INFANTIL: REVISÃO SISTEMÁTICA.
A Leucemia apresenta-se como uma
neoplasia hematológica de grande relevância
clínica onde a sua principal característica é
o acúmulo de células imaturas anormais na
medula óssea, gerando infecções frequentes
como anemia, sangramentos, dor osteoarticular
e fadiga. O objetivo deste estudo foi analisar,
através de uma revisão sistemática, a atuação
fisioterápica na leucemia infantil. A busca de
dados foi realizada através das bibliotecas virtuais
Scielo, PubMed, Bireme, LILACS e PEDro.
Foram selecionados artigos publicados nos anos
de 2007 a 2017, obedecendo rigorosamente
os critérios de inclusão: texto na íntegra,
população-alvo (crianças e/ou adolescentes),
intervenção fisioterápica e estudos com
delineamento experimental ou observacional.
Foram excluídos artigos que abordassem o
tratamento em paciente acima de 19 anos, bem
como dissertações e doutorados. Para obter
um critério sob a qualidade metodológica dos
estudos analisados, aplicou-se a tabela PEDro.
Observou-se que a intervenção utilizada em
12,5% dos artigos foi o uso da reabilitação
neuromotora; 25% dos artigos relataram que
os pacientes utilizaram treinamento de força
muscular respiratória; em 37,5% dos artigos, foi
relatado o uso de exercícios aeróbicos e 25%
dos artigos mencionaram o uso de movimentos
de aquecimento. Os resultados encontrados
demonstram a efetividade da atuação
fisioterapêutica em pacientes oncológicos
pediátricos, enfatizando os exercícios
aeróbicos, fortalecimento muscular respiratório,
alongamentos e reabilitação neuromotora
como condutas a serem realizadas e que
atuam de forma positiva na qualidade de vida
e capacidade funcional nesse público alvo.

Abstract:
Leukemia presents as a
haematological neoplasm of great clinical
relevance where its main characteristic is the
accumulation of abnormal immature cells in the
bone marrow, generating frequent infections
such as anemia, bleeding, osteoarticular pain
and fatigue. The objective of this study was to analyze, through a systematic review, the
physiotherapeutic action in childhood leukemia. Data search was performed through
the virtual libraries Scielo, PubMed, Bireme, LILACS and PEDRO. We selected articles
published in the years 2007 to 2017, strictly adhering to inclusion criteria: full text, target
population (children and / or adolescents), physiotherapeutic intervention and studies
with an experimental or observational design. We excluded articles that addressed
the treatment in patients over 19 years, as well as dissertations and doctorates. To
obtain a criterion under the methodological quality of the studies analyzed, the PEDro
table was applied. It was observed that the intervention used in 12.5% of the articles
was the use of neuromotor rehabilitation; 25% of the articles reported that patients
used respiratory muscle strength training; in 37.5% of the articles, the use of aerobic
exercises was reported and 25% of the articles mentioned the use of warm-up
movements. The results show the effectiveness of physiotherapy in pediatric oncology
patients, emphasizing aerobic exercises, respiratory muscle strengthening, stretching
and neuromotor rehabilitation as conduits to be performed and that act positively on
quality of life and functional capacity in this target population.
