Atuação dos enfermeiros frente à violência sexual contra crianças e adolescentes: revisão integrativa

• Abstract: Objective: To synthesize scientific evidence regarding the performance of nurses in addressing sexual violence against children and adolescents. Method: An integrative review conducted from September to October 2024. Data collection was carried out through searches in the Nursing Database (BDENF), Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online (MEDLINE), Latin American and Caribbean Health Sciences Literature (LILACS), and Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO). Results: Two articles comprised the final sample, both of which were cross-sectional studies published in national journals. The actions performed by nurses regarding sexual violence against children and adolescents included: compulsory notification, identification of sexual abuse, health education, health assistance for victims and their families, and coordination with violence prevention and care services. Final Considerations: The effective performance of nurses in caring for victims requires adjustments and permanent education activities to improve the quality of care provided to children and adolescents in situations of violence.
