ATUAÇÃO DO FISIOTERAPEUTA EM PACIENTES ONCOLÓGICOS EM CUIDADOS PALIATIVOS EM UM HOSPITAL FILANTRÓPICO DA CIDADE DE MACEIÓ- AL
A fisioterapia em cuidados paliativos visa à qualidade de vida em pacientes com doença avançada ou em progressão desta, por meio de condutas que reabilitem funcionalmente o paciente. Com isso, procuramos descrever a atuação do fisioterapeuta em pacientes oncológicos em cuidados paliativos na Santa Casa Rodrigo Ramalho em Maceió, Alagoas. Trata-se de um estudo observacional de caráter transversal, qualitativo, realizado no período de abril a maio de 2018. O estudo foi constituído por fisioterapeutas atuantes na área de cuidados paliativos, sendo incluídos os que possuíam pelo menos um ano de vinculo no serviço. Foram excluídos os que estavam de licença médica, gestacional e no período de recesso. O estudo foi constituído por seis fisioterapeutas com idade variável de 26-34 anos, com media de 30,83(±3,06) anos. Ao analisar o sexo dos entrevistados, 83,3% (n=5) eram do sexo feminino e 16,6% (n=1) do sexo masculino. Quanto ao tempo de graduação 33,3% (n=2) são formados há menos de cinco anos e 66,6% (n=4) há mais de cinco anos. Em relação ao tempo de atuação nos cuidados paliativos 50% (n=3) atuam há um ano e 50% (n=3) há mais de um ano. Sobre o conteúdo de fisioterapia oncológica ter sido visto durante a graduação 66,6% (n=4) relataram contato com o assunto, já 33,3% (n=2) não tiveram o conteúdo. Ressalta-se a importância do preparo profissional para enfrentar a finitude tão próxima quando se lida com estes pacientes, portanto a discussão não deve ser evitada e muito menos excluída da formação destes profissionais.

Physiotherapy in palliative care aims at quality of life in patients with advanced disease or in progression of it, through conducts that functionally rehabilitate the patient. With that, we tried to describe the physiotherapist's performance in oncology patients in palliative care at Santa Casa Rodrigo Ramalho in Maceió, Alagoas. This is a cross-sectional, qualitative observational study, carried out from April to May 2018. The study consisted of physiotherapists working in the field of palliative care, including those who had at least one year of service. Those who were on sick leave, gestational and during recess were excluded. The study consisted of six physical therapists with a variable age of 26-34 years, with an average of 30.83 (± 3.06) years. When analyzing the gender of the interviewees, 83.3% (n = 5) were female and 16.6% (n = 1) were male. As for graduation time, 33.3% (n = 2) have graduated for less than five years and 66.6% (n = 4) for more than five years. Regarding the length of experience in palliative care, 50% (n = 3) have been working for a year and 50% (n = 3) for more than a year. Regarding the content of oncological physiotherapy being seen during graduation, 66.6% (n = 4) reported contact with the subject, whereas 33.3% (n = 2) did not have the content. We emphasize the importance of professional preparation to face such close finitude when dealing with these patients, so the discussion should not be avoided, much less excluded from the training of these professionals. -
