ATUAÇÃO DA DEFENSORIA PÚBLICA NO INTRAMUROS DO PRP-RS
O estudo tem por objeto a atuação da Defensoria Pública no intramuros do Presídio Regional de Pelotas (PRP) – RS, tendo como questão suleadora as interferências das peculiaridades do sistema carcerário e suas configurações na respectiva atuação. Entre fevereiro e março de 2018, se acompanhou a Defensora Pública de Pelotas, lotada na Vara de Execuções Criminais, no PRP. A análise ainda é parcial, mas já é possível verificar uma situação particular na atuação da Defensoria, quando realizada intramuros. As configurações obrigam a Defensora a se adaptar a realidade, para desenvolver sua atividade, quando do simples fato de atravessar um muro.

Abstract:
The study has as an object the operation of the Public Defenders’ Office inside the walls of the Regional Prison of Pelotas (PRP) – RS, taking as a South the interferences of the peculiarities of the prison system and its settings on the operation of the Public Defenders. Between February and March 2018, the work of a Public Defender of Pelotas assigned to the Criminal Execution Court, in the PRP, was followed. The analysis is still incomplete, but it’s already possible to verify that there is a particular situation in the operation of the Public Defenders, when done inside the walls. There are nuances that force the Public Defenders to adapt to their reality to develop their activity, when they simply cross the wall.
