ATIVIDADES SOCIAIS E O GRUPO PET: ABORDAGEM REALIZADA PELO GRUPO PET ENGENHARIAS IFBA
O presente artigo trata da discussão a respeito do Pet Social, que é uma das atividades desenvolvidas pelo grupo PET Engenharias. O Programa de Educação Tutorial (PET) realiza atividades dentro do tripé ensino, pesquisa e extensão, sendo que as atividades sociais realizadas pelo grupo PET Engenharias se enquadram no tripé extensão e são desenvolvidas em instituições de apoio social através de mobilização planejada pelos integrantes do grupo. No decorrer de algumas das atividades promovidas pelo grupo dentro da instituição de ensino, como minicursos e palestra, são arrecadados itens que posteriormente atuam na culminância do PET Social. No evento de entrega dos itens arrecadados ocorrem brincadeiras, diálogos e interação entre os petianos e a comunidade visitada. Dessa forma, objetiva-se evidenciar as atividades de cunho social realizadas pelo grupo, bem como o impacto local do grupo PET Engenharias e a relevância deste tipo de atividade para os integrantes do grupo e para a comunidade interna e externa da instituição de ensino.

Abstract:
This article deals with the discussion about Pet Social, which is one of the activities developed by the PET Engenharias group. The Tutorial Education Program (PET) performs activities within the teaching, research and extension tripod, and the social activities carried out by the PET Engenharias group fall under the extension tripod and are developed in social work institutions through mobilization planned by the group members. In the course of some of the activities promoted by the group within the educational institution, such as short courses and lectures, items are collected that later act on the culmination of PET Social. In the event of delivery of the collected items there are games, dialogues and interaction between the Petians and the visited community. Thus, we seek to highlight the social activities carried out by the group, as well as the local impact of the PET Engenharias group and the relevance of this type of activity for the members of the group and for the internal and external community of the educational institution.
