ATIVIDADES EDUCATIVAS SOBRE DOENÇAS RARAS: RELATO DE EXPERIENCIA
INTRODUÇÃO: Doenças raras
são definidas como as que afetam a uma
pequena parcela da população. Devido a sua
raridade muitas vezes o diagnóstico precoce
é negligenciado o que pode gerar inúmeras
consequências para o portador. OBJETIVO:
relatar a experiência de acadêmicos de
enfermagem da Universidade pública de
Teresina em uma atividade de educação em
saúde sobre doenças raras. METODOLOGIA:
trata-se de um estudo descritivo do tipo relato
de experiência sobre uma atividade educativa
em alusão ao dia mundial das doenças raras
realizado em um hospital de atendimento
infantil, no qual foi aberta para o público em
geral. As doenças discutidas foram à síndrome
de Gaucher, Shua e a mucopolissacaridose.
Após a abordagem teórica sobre as síndromes
também realizamos encenações teatrais, uma
música referente à temática. RESULTADOS
E DISCUSÃO: Contamos com um público
de 22 pessoas a maioria dos ouvintes da
palestra eram os pacientes, seus familiares e
os profissionais do hospital. Todas as pessoas
que estavam ali presentes participaram
ativamente das discussões no qual podemos
perceber através de suas indagações o
desconhecimento a acerca dessas síndromes.
Por fim com a encenação teatral apresentada
buscamos simplificar as orientações prestadas.
CONCLUSÃO: As ações de promoção da saúde
que envolve atividades educativas permitem
a troca de saberes entre os discentes e os ouvintes. É atribuição do enfermeiro a
capacitação do indivíduo, o incentivo ao autocuidado e a promoção à saúde. Por se
tratar de síndromes raras a população desconhece essas síndromes, sendo de suma
importância atividades voltadas para essa temática.

Abstract:
INTRODUCTION: Rare diseases are defined as those that affect a small
portion of the population. Due to its rarity often the early diagnosis is neglected which can
generate numerous consequences for the wearer. PURPOSE: to report the experience
of nursing academics at the Teresina Public University in a health education activity
on rare diseases. METHODOLOGY: it is a descriptive study of the type of experience
report about an educational activity in reference to the world day of rare diseases
carried out in a hospital of child care, in which it was opened to the general public. The
diseases discussed were Gaucher syndrome, Shua and mucopolysaccharidosis. After
the theoretical approach on the syndromes we also performed theatrical scenarios, a
song related to the theme. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION: We had an audience of 22
people, most of whom were the patients, their relatives and the hospital professionals.
All the people who were present participated actively in the discussions in which we
can perceive through their inquiries the ignorance about these syndromes. Finally,
with the theatrical performance presented, we seek to simplify the guidelines provided.
CONCLUSION: Health promotion actions that involve educational activities allow the
exchange of knowledge between students and listeners. It is the attribution of the nurse
to the empowerment of the individual, the incentive to self-care and the promotion
of health. Because these are rare syndromes, the population is unaware of these
syndromes, being extremely important activities focused on this theme.
