• Abstract: state university, which is based on three interrelated bases: teaching, research and extension. Extension activities can be used as aid tools to bring the content produced in educational institutions to the community; In addition to providing academics the practical application of knowledge and skills acquired in classes. University extension should be done in a way that both the institution and the external community benefit, interacting and transforming the individuals involved. This article aims to report the experience experienced by students and teachers of the Pharmacy course of the State University of Paraná (Unioeste) in an extension project entitled “70% alcohol handling for Unioeste sectors”, pointing to their importance as a tool in their training process students. The extension project reported here began in 2014 and continues until the present day. It aims to provide 70% alcohol in liquid and gelified form to interested sectors, as well as enable students to put into practice the knowledge and skills acquired in the classes of the alopathic and homeopathic pharmacotechnical discipline, taught in the institution's pharmacy course . The project results were beneficial for all parties involved, whether the students, the institutions served in the various communities, as well as the college itself.
