Bees’ products can be a healthy

alternative for the treatment of various infections,

some are a challenge for proper treatment and

the use of antibiotics often cause resistance

or are very expensive, making it an obstacle

to veterinary medicine. In the inflammations of

the auditory canal of dogs, experiments in vitro,

has proven the efficient antimicrobial activity

of bee honey Tetragonisca angustula, and

Melipona quadrifaciata bee’s geopropolis in the

control of of Staphylococcus sp, Bacillus sp and

yeasts. About geopropolis action, it demonstrad

the efficiency of this product of the bee Jataí

(Tetragonisca angustula) against Stapylococcus

sp. coagulase-negatives isolated in the milk

of crossbred cows with mastitis. Similarly,

tests with honey of stingless bees from the

Tetragonisca angustula species have been

conducted demonstrating that this apitherapic

has clear action against Sporothrix schenckii.
