ATENDIMENTO INICIAL APÓS TRAUMATISMO DENTÁRIO INFANTIL: PROBLEMATIZANDO O (DES)CONHECIMENTO DOS PROFESSORES
Objetivo: Problematizar, por meio de uma revisão integrativa da literatura, o (des)conhecimento dos professores sobre o atendimento inicial dos traumatismos dentários em crianças. Bases de dados: PubMed (National Library of Medicine) e SciELO (Scientific Electronic Library Online). Síntese dos dados: Foram incluídos apenas quatro artigos científicos disponíveis gratuitamente e na íntegra, nos idiomas português e/ou inglês, publicados nos anos de 2014 a 2019 e relacionados à questão norteadora após a leitura do título e resumo. Conclusão: Os professores, em geral, não possuem suficiente conhecimento ou não se sentem capazes a realizar o atendimento inicial de dentes traumatizados, o que pode interferir negativamente no prognóstico da lesão.

Abstract:
Objective: To problematize, by means of an integrative literature review, the (un)knowledge of teachers about the initial treatment of dental trauma in children. Databases: PubMed (National Library of Medicine) and SciELO (Scientific Electronic Library Online). Summary of the data: This research included only four scientific articles available for free and in full, in Portuguese and/or English, published from 2014 to 2019 and related to the guiding question, after reading the title and the abstract. Conclusion: Teachers, in general, do not have enough knowledge or do not feel able to perform the initial care of traumatized teeth, which can negatively interfere with the injury prognosis.
