Abstract: Objective: To evaluate the prenatal care provided by Primary Health Care (PHC) to Brazilian and migrant pregnant women in Boa Vista, Roraima. Method: A study was carried out with 18 Brazilian and migrant pregnant women at three USFs (n=18). The methodology used was a case study, and data collection took place through face-toface interviews and visualization of the pregnant women's card, which presented the outcome variable (dependent) of the interviewees' nationality. Results: the study showed good coverage of prenatal care in the first semester consultations (66.7 %), and the degree of satisfaction of Brazilian and migrant pregnant women with the prenatal care offered by the PHC found dissatisfaction of the interviewees with the care provided by the USF (72.2 %), with the majority being Venezuelan pregnant women (85, 7%) who described the service as "regular", suggesting that one of the factors was cultural language barriers affecting the quality of prenatal care, as well as other variables relating to the provision of prenatal care services to pregnant women attending basic health units, a reference point for migrant populations. Final considerations: Despite the study's limitations, the sample made it possible to find out how prenatal care is being provided, especially for migrant pregnant women and, by showing factors that compromise the quality of prenatal care in PHC, it is valid to consider that its results are relevant, as they emphasize the greater need for attention in prenatal care for Brazilians and migrants in border regions. Another limitation refers to the type of study, since normative evaluation does not provide an understanding of the causes and effects in the relationship between the intervention evaluated and its results. There is a need for more scientific studies, accurate diagnoses, successful interventions and, above all, bilateral agreements that provide practical, legal and financial solutions to these situations/problems listed, especially for women living in border regions, taking into account maternal and child health needs.
