ASSISTÊNCIA DE ENFERMAGEM EM PACIENTES E CUIDADORES DE PORTADORES DA DOENÇA DE ALZHEIMER
Este artigo apresenta uma revisão bibliográfica integrativa com abordagem qualitativa sobre a assistência de enfermagem aos pacientes com Doença de Alzheimer. Através da análise de literatura especializada, busca-se compreender as práticas de cuidado e intervenções realizadas pelos profissionais de enfermagem nesse contexto, visando contribuir para a melhoria da qualidade de vida desses pacientes. A revisão integrativa identificou a importância dos enfermeiros na educação e suporte aos cuidadores, fornecendo informações precisas e um plano de assistência para retardar os efeitos degenerativos da doença. A humanização das práticas de saúde também foi ressaltada como elemento fundamental para compreender o contexto de significados em que a doença é vivenciada. Além disso, a implementação de políticas públicas pode melhorar significativamente a qualidade de vida dos pacientes com Alzheimer e seus cuidadores. É fundamental que o sistema de saúde ofereça serviços especializados e efetivos para esses pacientes, além de investir em pesquisas para aprimorar as práticas de cuidado e intervenções. Pode-se concluir que a assistência de enfermagem aos pacientes com Doença de Alzheimer requer aprimoramento constante, tanto na formação dos profissionais quanto na implementação de políticas públicas. O conhecimento científico sobre essa condição e a prática humanizada da enfermagem podem contribuir significativamente para a melhoria da qualidade de vida desses pacientes e seus cuidadores.

Abstract:
This article presents an integrative qualitative literature review on nursing care for patients with Alzheimer's Disease. Through the analysis of specialized literature, the aim is to understand the care practices and interventions performed by nursing professionals in this context, aiming to contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of these patients. The integrative review identified the important role of nurses in educating and supporting caregivers, providing accurate information and a care plan to delay the degenerative effects of the disease. The humanization of healthcare practices was also highlighted as a fundamental element to understand the context of meaning in which the disease is experienced. In addition, the implementation of public policies can significantly improve the quality of life of Alzheimer's patients and their caregivers. It is essential that the healthcare system offers specialized and effective services for these patients, as well as investing in research to improve care practices and interventions. It can be concluded that nursing care for patients with Alzheimer's Disease requires constant improvement, both in the training of professionals and in the implementation of public policies. Scientific knowledge about this condition and the humanized practice of nursing can significantly contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of these patients and their caregivers.
