ASPECTOS DE VULNERABILIDADE AO HIV/AIDS NO SEGMENTO POPULACIONAL DAS TRAVESTIS NO BRASIL
A epidemia da infecção pelo vírus da imunodeficiência humana (HIV) caracteriza-se como sendo um fenômeno mundial, resultado de diversos fatores que venham a influenciar nesta ocorrência. O objetivo do presente estudo foi realizar levantamento sobre produção científica acerca da temática caracterizando os aspectos de vulnerabilidade ao HIV/AIDS por parte das travestis no Brasil, contidos na literatura. Trata-se de uma revisão de literatura de artigos científicos em indexados na Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS), realizada entre os meses de fevereiro a março de 2018, abordando pesquisas que elencassem a temática de vulnerabilidade ao Vírus da Imunodeficiência Humana - HIV em travestis. Este quadro situacional refere-se ao fato de que as travestis tendem a apresentar uma combinação de fatores e situações que as tornam vulneráveis para o acometimento por infecções sexualmente transmissíveis, como: condições socioeconômicas desfavoráveis, transformações corporais sem acompanhamento médico, prática sexual de risco, além de estigma e violência. Ainda são poucos os estudos que abordam situações de saúde com travestis, principalmente no Brasil, carecendo mais pesquisas a serem realizadas sobre esta problemática. Bem como, promoção de políticas públicas que visem a atender as necessidades e garantir direitos destas.

Abstract:
The epidemic of infection by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is characterized as a worldwide phenomenon, the result of several factors that may influence this occurrence. The objective of the present study was to carry out a survey on scientific production about the theme characterizing the aspects of vulnerability to HIV / AIDS by transvestites in Brazil, contained in the literature. This is a literature review of scientific articles indexed in the Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS), carried out between February and March 2018, addressing research that listed the issue of vulnerability to the Human Immunodeficiency Virus - HIV in transvestites. This situational picture refers to the fact that transvestites tend to have a combination of factors and situations that make them vulnerable to being affected by sexually transmitted infections, such as: unfavorable socioeconomic conditions, bodily changes without medical supervision, risky sexual practice, as well as stigma and violence. There are still few studies that address health situations with transvestites, especially in Brazil, requiring more research to be carried out on this issue. As well as, promotion of public policies that aim to meet the needs and guarantee their rights.
