ASPECTOS DAS VARIAÇÕES LINGUÍSTICAS NO CANTEIRO DE OBRA
O homem pode transformar a realidade e a si mesmo, através dos sentidos despertados pela linguagem. O grau de formalidade da situação de comunicação é que determinará a escolha de uma linguagem formal ou informal. Por isso, o conceito de “certo” e “errado” devem ser reavaliados em nossas “relações linguísticas”, uma vez que estará certo aquilo que o ouvinte/leitor aceite dentro do processo de comunicação. O objetivo da pesquisa foi verificar se as variações linguísticas empregadas em um canteiro de obras interferem nos processos de comunicação e de execução dos trabalhos, como também fazer um levantamento dos termos populares mais usados e relacioná-los à linguagem técnica usada na academia. Para tanto, optou-se por uma pesquisa de natureza descritiva e qualitativo-exploratória. O levantamento de termos por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas e da observação das linguagens usadas no cotidiano dos canteiros de obras deu condições de averiguar a proposta do trabalho. Os dados foram analisados à luz da Análise do discurso, no tocante aos conceitos de sujeito, efeitos de verdade e memória discursiva e, principalmente, da Sociolinguística. Assim, foram identificados os termos utilizados pelos profissionais da área da construção civil presentes em um canteiro de obras ao se referirem à execução dos mesmos serviços. Por fim, foi constatado que não houve o comprometimento quanto à execução do serviço, pois os gerenciadores da construção, ao apresentarem um comando, adequam a linguagem, modificando os termos técnicos em termos populares já conhecidos, facilitando a compreensão do que foi dito.

Abstract:
Man can transform reality and himself, through the senses awakened by language. The degree of formality of the communication situation will determine the choice of formal or informal language. Therefore, the concept of “right” and “wrong” must be reevaluated in our “linguistic relations”, since what the listener/reader accepts within the communication process will be right. The objective of the research was to verify if the linguistic variations used in a construction site interfere in the processes of communication and execution of the works, as well as to make a survey of the most used popular terms and to relate them to the technical language used in the academy. Therefore, a descriptive and qualitative-exploratory research was chosen. The survey of terms through semi-structured interviews and the observation of the languages used in the daily life of the construction sites gave conditions to verify the proposal of the work. Data were analyzed in the light of Discourse Analysis, regarding the concepts of subject, truth effects and discursive memory and, mainly, Sociolinguistics. Thus, the terms used by professionals in the field of civil construction present at a construction site when referring to the execution of the same services were identified. Finally, it was found that there was no commitment to the execution of the service, as the construction managers, when presenting a command, adapt the language, modifying the technical terms in popular terms already known, facilitating the understanding of what was said.
