ASPECTOS DA REPRESENTAÇÃO SOCIAL DA VELHICE ENTRE OS SUJEITOS VELHOS DA CIDADE SENHOR DO BONFIM – BA
Com a ampliação da longevidade da vida humana, observa-se a necessidade de estudar a representação social da velhice entre os sujeitos velhos como instrumento para auxiliar na construção de reflexões sobre a geografia do envelhecimento da cidade de Senhor do Bonfim – BA. As representações sociais indicam reflexos da vida cotidiana materializada no espaço geográfico, contribuindo o entendimento o seu processo de (re)produção. Esta pesquisa foi fundamentada a partir de reflexões do mundo vivido, baseado na teoria da produção social do espaço de Henri Lefebvre (2006) e utilizou-se da ferramenta de análise da representação social apresentada por Serge Moscovici (1978), apoiando a construção de análise do discurso (AD) e mapas conceituais. De modo geral, o resultado revelou uma tentativa por parte dos participantes em caracterizar uma representação para um outro que não a si mesmo, sustentando a ideia de negatividade em torno da velhice.

Abstract:
The expansion of the longevity of human life, there is a need to study the social representation of old age among elderly subjects as an instrument to help in the construction of reflections on the geography of aging in the city of Senhor do Bonfim – BA. Social representations indicate reflections of everyday life materialized in geographic space, contributing to the understanding of its (re)production process. This research was based on reflections on the lived world, based on the theory of social production of space by Henri Lefebvre (2006) and used the social representation analysis tool presented by Serge Moscovici (1978), supporting the construction of analysis of speech (AD) and concept maps. Overall, the result revealed an attempt by the participants to characterize a representation for someone other than themselves, supporting the idea of negativity around old age.
