ASPECTOS DA NARRATIVA FANTÁSTICA NO CONTO A VÊNUS DE ILLE, DE PROSPER MÉRIMÉE
A narrativa fantástica, na apresentação de de Tzvetan Todorov, é comparada ao estranho e ao maravilhoso, sendo fantástica a diegese em que o evento sobrenatural não é confirmado, ou seja, deixa dúvidas ao leitor. É um tipo de narrativa cuja percepção se estabelece na dúvida. Nosso corpus, que é constituído pelo conto A Vênus de Ille, de Prosper Mérimée, que traz a história de um antiquário que visita Ille e se depara com a estátua fantástica. Objetivamos, assim, traçar os aspectos da narrativa fantástica propostos por Todorov no conto de Mérimée. O embasamento teórico é constituído por Introdução à Literatura Fantástica, de Todorov.

Abstract:
The fantastic narrative, in the presentation of Tzvetan Todorov, is compared to the strange and the wonderful, being fantastic the diegesis in which the supernatural event is not confirmed, that is, it leaves doubts to the reader. It is a type of narrative whose perception is established in doubt. Our corpus, which is constituted by the short story A Vênus de Ille, by Prosper Mérimée, which brings the story of an antique dealer who visits Ille and comes across the fantastic statue. We aim, therefore, to trace the aspects of the fantastic narrative proposed by Todorov in Mérimée's short story. The theoretical basis consists of Todorov's Introdução à Literatura Fantástica.
