ASPECTOS DA LEUCEMIA EM CRIANÇAS E A PARTICIPAÇÃO DO ENFERMEIRO NA MINIMIZAÇÃO DOS TRANSTORNOS CAUSADOS PELA DOENÇA
Entre os cânceres hematológicos
encontra-se a leucemia, doença relacionada à
produção desordenada e anormal das células
blásticas por parte da medula óssea. O tema
abordado surgiu da seguinte problemática:
Quais os sinais e sintomas desenvolvidos
por uma criança com leucemia e como o
profissional de enfermagem pode contribuir
para atenuar os transtornos desta doença?
Portanto, diante da importância de se estudar
a forma com que a leucemia se manifesta em
crianças e da escassez de investigações sobre
esta doença na área de enfermagem, pretendese
realizar este estudo com a finalidade de
contribuir para a expansão do conhecimento
científico em Enfermagem, com os seguintes
objetivos: Apontar as principais características
do quadro clínico e laboratorial de uma
criança leucêmica e destacar a importância
do enfermeiro no tratamento dessas crianças.
Para a elaboração do presente trabalho utilizouse
como metodologia a revisão bibliográfica,
em que para sua concretização foram usados
artigos e livros como fontes de pesquisa para
enriquecê-lo com ideias de diversos autores.
Diante dos resultados obtidos, através das
pesquisas realizadas, observou-se que existe
um grande empecilho no que diz respeito à
materiais bibliográficos desenvolvidos na área
da Enfermagem sobre o tema exposto e através
dessa afirmativa o presente trabalho, busca
incentivar a pesquisa sobre o assunto.

Abstract:
Among the hematological cancers
is leukemia, a disease related to the disordered
and abnormal production of the blast cells by
the bone marrow. The issue addressed came
from the following problematic: What signs
and symptoms developed by a child with
leukemia and how can the nursing professional
contribute to attenuate the disorders of this
disease? Therefore, considering the importance
of studying the way leukemia manifests in children and the scarcity of research
on this disease in the nursing area, it is intended to carry out this study with the
purpose of contributing to the expansion of scientific knowledge in Nursing , with the
following objectives: To identify the main characteristics of the clinical and laboratory
characteristics of a leukemic child and to highlight the importance of the nurse in the
treatment of these children. For the preparation of the present work, the bibliographical
revision was used as methodology, in which for its materialization, articles and books
were used as sources of research to enrich it with ideas of several authors. In view
of the results obtained, through the research carried out, it was observed that there
is a great obstacle regarding the bibliographical materials developed in the area of
Nursing on the exposed subject and through this affirmation the present work, seeks to
encourage research on the subject.
