ASPECTOS CLÍNICOS QUE INTERFEREM NA DEGLUTIÇÃO EM CUIDADOS PALIATIVOS - UM FOCO NA DISFAGIA OROFARÍNGEA
Objetivo: Identificar nas bases de dados da área de conhecimento, estudos que abordem aspectos clínicos do cuidado fonoaudiológico para com clientes com dificuldades de deglutição, que recebem cuidados paliativos no estágio de fim de vida, com vista na efetiva inclusão desse profissional nesse espaço de prática do cuidado institucional e domiciliária para essa clientela. Metodologia: Realizada a estratégia PICO, foram revisados os artigos publicados nas bases de dados Portal Capes, PubMed e BVS/Bireme, nos últimos 5 anos que abordassem cuidados paliativos sob a temática da alimentação e disfagia. Resultados e Discussão: Foram analisados 15 artigos, verificou-se que o aspecto disfagia, por si só é muito comum no público alvo estudado e que dentre os possíveis aspectos que impactam a deglutição aparecem o acúmulo de secreção oral seguido da xerostomia. Conclusão: É necessária a realização de estudos clínicos que correlacionem os aspectos encontrados com a função da deglutição.

Abstract:
Objective: To identify in the databases of the knowledge area, studies that address clinical aspects of speech therapy care for clients with swallowing difficulties, who receive palliative care at the end of life stage, with a view to the effective inclusion of this professional in this space of practice institutional and home care for this clientele. Methodology: After the PICO strategy, the articles published in the Portal Capes, PubMed and BVS / Bireme databases were reviewed in the last 5 years to address palliative care under food and dysphagia. Results: Fifteen articles were analyzed, it was verified that the dysphagia aspect, by itself is very common in the target public studied and that among the possible aspects that impact swallowing appear the accumulation of oral secretion followed by xerostomia. Conclusion: It is necessary to carry out clinical studies that correlate the aspects found with the function of swallowing.
