ASCENSÃO SOCIAL POR MEIO DOS ESTUDOS DE ESTUDANTES COM DEFICIÊNCIA: DA EDUCAÇÃO BÁSICA ATÉ A UNIVERSIDADE

a partir do Relatório Parcial de um Projeto de
Pesquisa, financiado pelo Conselho Nacional
de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico
– CNPq e da Diretoria de Pesquisa e Iniciação
Científica da Universidade do Estado do
Rio Grande do Norte – UERN com o título
“Ascensão social por meio dos estudos de
estudantes com deficiência: da Educação
Básica até a Universidade”. Tivemos como
objetivo geral a compreensão dos mecanismos
de ascensão de estudantes com deficiência, por
meio dos estudos, do Ensino Básico ao Ensino
Superior, em que usamos para obtermos as
coleta de dados rodas de conversa, entrevidas,
em que durante as narrativas dos discentes,
identicamos os aspectos e estratégias as quais
esses discentes utilizaram e utilizam para a sua ascensão social, através dos estudos.
A Convenção sobre os Direitos das Pessoas com Deficiência, aprovada pela ONU em
2006, e da qual o Brasil é signatário, em seu Preâmbulo, reconhece que as Nações
Unidas, na Declaração Universal dos Direitos Humanos e nos Pactos Internacionais
sobre Direitos Humanos, proclamam e concordam que toda pessoa faz jus a todos os
direitos e liberdades, ali estabelecidas, sem distinção de qualquer espécie.

Abstract:
This article originated from the partial report of a research project, funded
by the National Council for Scientific and Technological development – CNPq and the
Directorate of Research and Scientific initiation of the State University of Rio Grande Of
the north – UERN with the title “Social Ascension through the studies of students with
disabilities: from basic education to the university”. We had as general objective the
understanding of the mechanisms of ascension of students with disabilities, through
the studies, of basic education to higher education, in which we use to obtain the
data collection conversation wheels, in which during the narratives Of the students,
we identicate the aspects and strategies that these students used and use for their
social ascension through the studies. The Convention on the Rights of Persons with
disabilities, approved by the UN in 2006, and of which Brazil is a signatory, in its
preamble, recognizes that the United Nations, the Universal Declaration of Human
Rights and the international pacts on human Rights, Proclaim and agree that every
person is entitled to all rights and freedoms, established therein, without distinction of
any kind.
