As Três Concepções de Liberdade na obra o “O Direito de Liberdade” de Axel Honneth
O artigo analisa as três concepções de liberdade presentes na obra “O direito da liberdade”, de Axel Honneth, a saber: a liberdade negativa, a liberdade reflexiva e liberdade social. Em sua reconstrução da teoria crítica, Honneth procura mostrar, nas condições sociais da existência das liberdades individuais, representadas pela liberdade negativa e pela liberdade reflexiva, que o indivíduo tem sim sua vontade e ela deve ser realizada; entretanto, essas liberdades são superadas através da eticidade e do reconhecimento intersubjetivo, na tomada de consciência de que esse indivíduo não está só no mundo, e sim inserido em um contexto social mais amplo e complexo, no qual ele participa e tem direitos e deveres que precisam ser respeitados. Este tipo de liberdade é definido como liberdade social ou vontade coletiva. Portanto, é no âmbito da liberdade social (ou vontade coletiva) que os indivíduos são capazes de realizar suas vontades de maneira justa e democrática.

Abstract:
The paper analyzes the three notions of liberty presented in Axel Honneth’s The freedom’s right, namely: negative liberty, reflexive liberty and social liberty. In his reconstruction of critical theory, Honneth intends to show, from the investigation of social conditions for the existence of individual liberties in terms of negative and reflexive liberties, that individual has his will and it must be performed; however, these liberties are overcome by ethicity and intersubjective recognition, in the self-consciousness that the individual is not alone in the world, but inserted in a more wide and complex social context, in which he participates and has rights and duties which need by respected. This kind of liberty is defined as social liberty or collective will. Therefore, it is in the sphere of social liberty (or collective will) that individuals are capable of fulfilling their wills in a just and democratic manner.
