AS POLÍTICAS PÚBLICAS E O DESENVOLVIMENTO DO AGRONEGÓCIO EM RIO VERDE - GO
A cidade de Rio Verde é considerada
a capital do agronegócio goiano devido a fatores
como o favorecimento geográfico à atividade
agroindustrial, ao envolvimento e articulação
dos agentes locais bem como a elaboração e
implantação de políticas de incentivos fiscais.
Esta revisão bibliográfica foi feita a partir de
uma pesquisa nos bancos de dados do Google
Acadêmico e Scielo (Scientific Electronic
Library Online) sobre as políticas públicas e sua
correlação com o agronegócio de Rio Verde –
GO. A partir dos dados observados, percebeuse que a referida cidade passou por um
crescimento acelerado nos últimos vinte anos,
porém seu desenvolvimento não aumentou nas
devidas proporções. São inúmeros problemas
sociais e ambientais decorrentes do rápido
crescimento populacional e dos programas e
políticas públicas promovidas para ocupação
do cerrado que praticamente ignoraram o meio
ambiente. Assim, a criação de programas de
desenvolvimento sustentável é imprescindível e
urgente para a coexistência tanto dos benefícios
da agroindústria como da integridade do meio
ambiente.

Abstract:
The city of Rio Verde is considered
the capital of the agribusiness of Goiás, due
to factors such as the geographic favoring
of agroindustrial activity, the involvement
and articulation of local agents, as well as
the elaboration and implementation of fiscal
incentives policies. This bibliographic review
was made from a research in the Scientific
Electronic Library Online on public policies
and its correlation with the agribusiness of Rio
Verde - GO. Based on the observed data, it was
noticed that the city had accelerated growth
in the last twenty years, but its development
did not increase in due proportions. There are
numerous social and environmental problems
arising from the rapid population growth and
the programs and public policies promoted for
occupation of the savannah that practically
ignored the environment. Thus, the creation of
sustainable development programs is essential
and urgent for the coexistence of both the
benefits of agribusiness and the integrity of the
environment.
