Abstract: The research aims to study the public services of collection and treatment of sewage in the Municipality of Barueri, located in the State of São Paulo. More specifically, it seeks to analyze the problem of lack of access to this public service by the population of that locality in question, as well as to indicate possible concrete solutions in view of the universalization of these health services throughout the municipality.
