AS NARRATIVAS ORAIS E PRATICAS CULTURAIS EM
O propósito deste texto é
proporcionar uma reflexão acerca de narrativas
orais enquanto uma prática cultural que propicia
uma ressignificação do passado, com projeções
no presente e no futuro. Os narradores de Javé,
por meio de suas memórias, fazem o exercício
de relatar histórias sobre as origens do
povoado a um escrevente-historiador, a pedido
de um mentor, como estratégia de resistência
e salvação da comunidade e do vilarejo. Nele,
também pensamos acerca da linguagem e da
língua como intimamente relacionadas à cultura
e como instâncias dinâmicas, constituídas e
perpassadas por questões históricas, sociais,
econômicas, relacionais. Servimo-nos de uma
metodologia bibliográfico-interpretativa, tendo
como materialidade de estudo o filme brasileiro
Narradores de Javé (2003) e seu roteiro final
(2008) como suporte para análise.

Abstract:
This study focus on analyzing
the narratives that came from the popular oral
tradition and are understood a cultural practice
that provides new meanings of the past,
something that can affect either present or the
future. Jave’s storytellers use their memories in
order to tell stories about the village’s background
to a historian writer, something that was actually
a requested by his friend and was a part of plan
that tried to save the village and its people.
Therefore, it’s possible to understand how the
language and the discourse are closely linked to
culture, and also how the dynamic perspectives
can exists with historical, social, economic and
relational issues. This studied was based on a
bibliographical interpretive method to analyze
the Brazilian movie Narradores de Javé (2003)
and its screenplay (shooting script) (2008).
