As narrativas do design de S. – O navio de Teseu
O tema deste artigo é a construção da narrativa não-verbal imbricada na narrativa verbal no livro S. – O navio de Teseu, um livro de literatura de ficção sem indicação de faixa etária definida, cujo design diferenciado potencializa a produção de sentido e a imersão na história. O objetivo é apresentar os recursos gráficos do design que criam mecanismos de inferências associativas ao longo da leitura. O artigo fornece aportes teóricos sobre a estrutura da narrativa verbal e sobre os efeitos estéticos do ato da leitura. Evidencia a construção da narrativa não-verbal em S. – O navio de Teseu que, por meio da expertise dos designers, se integra à narrativa verbal em uma relação de complementariedade.

Abstract:
The subject of this article is the construction of the nonverbal narrative imbricated in the verbal narrative in the book S. - The ship of Theseus, a fiction literature book with no defined censorship rating, whose unconventional design intensifies the experience and the immersion while reading. The objective of this article is to present graphic design features that create associative inference mechanisms throughout the reading. The article provides theoretical contributions on the structure of verbal narrative and on the aesthetic effects of the act of reading. It evidences the construction of nonverbal narrative in S. - The ship of Theseus who, through the expertise of the designers, integrates to the verbal narrative in a relation of complementarity.
