AS IGREJAS CATÓLICAS COMO PATRIMÔNIO RELIGIOSO DE SÃO JOÃO DO POLÊSINE/RS

Este estudo é um recorte de um trabalho qualitativo e investigativo, é resultado de estudos realizados no Mestrado Profissional em Patrimônio Cultural da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria /RS, junto a Área de Concentração e da Linha de Pesquisa História e Patrimônio Documental que desenvolveu questões relacionadas ao Patrimônio Religioso do município de São João do Polêsine/RS. Buscou-se contribuir com a comunidade educacional através de um material didático de apoio em sala de aula, com o olhar voltado para a Educação Patrimonial. Esse conhecimento será levado a todos através da criação de um instrumento que contribua para tornar a comunidade um agente multiplicador capaz de valorizar e difundir a memória, a identidade e a história do município. Nesse contexto, buscou-se a valorização do Patrimônio Cultural Religioso do município de São João do Polêsine, baseando-se em uma abordagem qualitativa, na forma de revisão bibliográfica, documental e fotográfica sobre o tema. Dessa forma, foram destacadas a igrejas católicas do Município e coletado o maior número de informações sobre o assunto em questão. O resultado deste trabalho investigativo foi de uma cartilha de atividades pedagógicas para estudantes dos anos inicias do ensino fundamental, enfatizando três igrejas católicas existentes no Município.

  • Abstract: This study is an excerpt from a qualitative and investigative work, and is the result of studies carried out in the Professional Master's Degree in Cultural Heritage at the Federal University of Santa Maria/RS, together with the Area of ​​Concentration and the Research Line History and Documentary Heritage, which developed questions related to the Religious Heritage of the municipality of São João do Polêsine/RS. The aim was to contribute to the educational community through teaching materials to support the classroom, with a focus on Heritage Education. This knowledge will be shared with everyone through the creation of an instrument that contributes to making the community a multiplying agent capable of valuing and disseminating the memory, identity and history of the municipality. In this context, the aim was to value the Religious Cultural Heritage of the municipality of São João do Polêsine, based on a qualitative approach, in the form of a bibliographic, documentary and photographic review on the subject. In this way, the Catholic churches of the municipality were highlighted and the greatest amount of information on the subject in question was collected. The result of this investigative work was a booklet of pedagogical activities for students in the early years of elementary school, emphasizing three Catholic churches in the Municipality.
