AS ESTRUTURAS ALGÉBRICAS NA FORMAÇÃO DO PROFESSOR DE MATEMÁTICA: POR QUÊ?
As dificuldades encontradas por
discentes ao estudarem a disciplina Estruturas
Algébricas num curso de Licenciatura em
Matemática podem estar ligadas a razões
específicas, como, por exemplo, a dificuldade
de estabelecer conexões entre a disciplina e
a Álgebra aprendida no Ensino Básico. Com
isto, o presente artigo tem como principal
objetivo estabelecer essa correlação, a fim
de mostrar a importância da disciplina na
proposta curricular dos cursos de Licenciatura
em Matemática. Para tanto, a partir de uma
pesquisa bibliográfica, iremos traçar um
panorama do desenvolvimento da Álgebra,
da sua inserção no ensino de Matemática,
e justificar os jogos de sinais por meio das
propriedades elementares de um Anel, com o
intuito de apresentar uma dentre as inúmeras
conexões entre as Estruturas Algébricas e a
Álgebra aprendida no Ensino Básico. Diante
disso, concluímos que o conhecimento das
Estruturas Algébricas é essencial para a
formação do professor de Matemática, pois
fornecer uma base de conhecimento específico,
as quais fundamentam boa parte dos conteúdos
da Matemática do Ensino Básico.

Abstract:
The difficulties found by students
in Algebric Struture in a Mathematics Degree
may be related to specific reasons, for example,
the difficulty of establishing connections
between the discipline and Algebra learned
in Basic Education. Thereby, the present
article has as main objective to establish this
correlation, show the importance of the subject
in the curricular proposal of the courses of
Degree in Mathematics. Therefore, from a
bibliographic search we will outline an overview
the development of Algebra, of its insertion in the
teaching of Mathematics, and to justify the rules
of signs by means of the elementary properties
of a Ring, with the intention of presenting
one of the numerous connections between
Algebraic Structures and Algebra learned in
Basic Education. Therefore, we conclude that
the knowledge of the Algebraic Structures is
essential for the formation of the Mathematics teacher, since it provides a specific knowledge base, which substantiate the contents
of Mathematics of Basic Education.
