AS ESPACIALIDADES DA REFORMA DO ENSINO MÉDIO EM ARAGUAÍNA-TO (2017-2018): LIMITES E RECUOS
A reforma do ensino médio realizouse através da Medida Provisória nº 746/2016
transformada na Lei nº 13.415/2017. A
presente pesquisa tem como objetivo geral:
compreender o processo de implantação da
reforma do Ensino Médio em Araguaína-TO
(2017-2018). Os objetivos específicos são:
relatar as condições da implantação da reforma
do Ensino Médio em Araguaína-TO de forma
vertical; comparar a implantação dessa reforma
em 02 (duas) Escolas Estaduais, em 01 (uma)
Escola Confessional e em 01 (uma) Instituição
Federal, em Araguaína - TO; avaliar os limites
e os recuos da reforma para o Ensino Médio
nesta cidade, principalmente nas instituições
em estudo; analisar o espaço reservado no
currículo do Ensino Médio para o estudo da
Geografia, nas instituições aqui pesquisadas. É
um tema, que apresenta relevância acadêmica e
social, tanto local quando nacionalmente. Tratase de um Estudo de Caso, de tipo qualitativo e
exploratório. Tem-se como resultado provisório
desta investigação que a implantação da
reforma do Ensino Médio em AraguaínaTO, ocorre de forma vertical, ou seja, via
Ministério da Educação, Secretaria Estadual
de Educação do Tocantins, Diretoria Regional
de Ensino de Araguaína - TO e instituições de
ensino, sem dialogar satisfatoriamente com
a comunidade docente, contrariando assim, o
princípio constitucional de gestão democrática
da educação pública. Verificou-se também
que uma das escolas estaduais encerrou a
oferta de Ensino Médio, noturno. Esta pesquisa
encontra-se em andamento, portanto, apresenta
resultados preliminares.

Abstract:
The high school reform was
carried out through Provisional Measure nº
746/2016 transformed into Law nº 13.415/2017.
The present research has as general objective:
to understand the process of implementation of the High School reform in Araguaína-TO
(2017-2018). The specific objectives are: to report the conditions of the implementation
of the high school reform in Araguaína-TO vertically; compare the implementation
of this reform in 02 (two) State Schools, 01 (one) Confessional School and 01 (one)
Federal Institution, in Araguaína - TO; to evaluate the limits and setbacks of the reform
for High School in this city, especially in the institutions under study; to analyze the
space reserved in the curriculum of High School for the study of Geography, in the
institutions researched here. It is a theme that presents academic and social relevance,
both locally and nationally. This is a study case of a qualitative and exploratory nature.
It is a provisional result of this investigation that the implementation of the high school
reform in Araguaína-TO occurs vertically, that is, through the Ministry of Education,
State Secretariat of Education of Tocantins, Executive Board of Education and
educational institutions, without a satisfactory dialogue with the teaching community,
thus contradicting the constitutional principle of democratic management of public
education. It was also verified that one of the State Schools shutted down the offerig
of High School, at night. This research is in progress, therefore, presents preliminary
results
