AS ESCRITAS DO AMOR NA VELHICE: UMA REVISÃO SISTEMÁTICA
Este capítulo tem como objetivo
identificar as formas como o idoso vive o encontro
com o amor, delineando também as formas
como a sociedade representa a sexualidade
no processo de envelhecimento. Partimos
da concepção de que o envelhecimento é
caracterizado por um processo de construção
social, atravessado pelas questões sociais,
culturais, políticas, econômicas e subjetivas.
Para tanto, foi realizada uma Revisão
Sistemática da Literatura nas seguintes bases
de dados: SciELO e PePSIC. Foram utilizados
os seguintes descritores: 1) Sexualidade na
terceira idade, 2) Velhice e Sexualidade e
3) Envelhecimento e Psicanálise. Dentre os
critérios de inclusão utilizados para a seleção
dos estudos, destacamos: 1) textos publicados
a partir de 2008 até o ano corrente, 2) os
trabalhos que retratam o contexto brasileiro e
que foram escritos na língua portuguesa e, por
último, 3) aqueles que estão inseridos no campo
da psicologia e da psicanálise. Dessa forma,
foram analisados 22 artigos. Os resultados
obtidos apontam que há poucos estudos sobre
o tema. Com isso, chega-se à conclusão que
o foco dos estudos sobre o envelhecimento
está relacionado à como a velhice e temas
como a morte e doenças neuro degenerativas
afetam o sujeito, comprovando-se, assim, a
incipiência de pesquisas em relação à temática
da sexualidade. No que se refere à limitação
do estudo, destacam-se as bases de dados,
idiomas e período de publicação dos estudos,
que não abarcam todos os textos existentes na
área.

Abstract:
This chapter aims to identify the
ways in which the elderly live the encounter
with love, also outlining the ways in which society represents sexuality in the aging
process. We start from the conception that aging is characterized by a process of social
construction, crossed by social, cultural, political, economic and subjective issues. For
this, a Systematic Literature Review was performed in the following databases: SciELO
and PePSIC. The following descriptors were used: 1) Sexuality in old age, 2) Old age
and Sexuality and 3) Aging and Psychoanalysis. Among the inclusion criteria used for
the selection of studies, we highlight: 1) texts published from 2008 until the current
year, 2) works that portray the Brazilian context and were written in Portuguese and,
finally, 3) those who are in the field of psychology and psychoanalysis. Thus, 22 articles
were analyzed. The results show that there are few studies on the subject. Thus, it is
concluded that the focus of studies on aging are related to how old age and themes
such as death and neuro-degenerative diseases affect the subject, thus proving a lack
of research on the theme of sexuality. Regarding the limitation of the study, we highlight
the databases, languages and period of publication of the studies, which do not cover
all existing texts in the area.
