Abstract: An important step to guarantee an education in tune with the training needs of peasant peoples is the existence and implementation of the Political-Pedagogical Project (PPP), a plan that signals the path to be taken by educators, guiding the intentionality and functioning of the institution, the pedagogical work, as well as the desired education and the profile of the human being to be trained. The present work, therefore, disagrees with the actions developed within the scope of the Extension Project: Mediation for Transformation, highlighting its contributions so that school managers and pedagogical coordinators of the municipal education network of Miguel Alves, state of Piauí, can coordinate the (re)elaboration of the PPP of the schools where it operates. Field research with a qualitative approach was developed and a questionnaire was used as a data production device, answered by 24 school managers and pedagogical coordinators. The results indicate that continued training contributed to the expansion of knowledge regarding school management and for these professionals to lead the (re)elaboration of the PPP. However, it is necessary for the Municipal Department of Education to develop continuous training processes and ensure working conditions so that these professionals can, in partnership with different members of the school community, implement the PPP, implementing the education project that is explained in the (re)drafted document.
