Abstract: Environmental degradation has disseminated different arboviruses (vectors), for example, Aedes and Culex, responsible for several arboviruses (diseases), including Dengue and Filariasis, in different territories, intensifying health threats and costs for society, with arboviruses such as Dengue, Chikungunya and Zika, called neglected diseases. The objective of this work is to socialize and discuss the context of vector monitoring, the result of partnerships and projects between the Technical Courses: Environmental Control and Environment of the Technical School of Health of the Federal University of Uberlândia, Federal Institute of Triângulo Mineiro, Association of Autonomous Recyclers and UFU Sustainability Directorate, through ovitraps, with contributions from Health Geography, especially in times of the Covid 19 pandemic. The ovitraps and reeds were monitored, until March 2020, in the field and in the laboratory, but with the Covid 19 pandemic, we had to adopt other procedures, as social mobilization strategies. At the same time, we carried out some activities, virtually due to health restrictions, based on Popular Health Education, related to monitoring, vectors, diseases and environmental health care. The results demonstrate that it is possible, despite challenges, to replicate this successful experience, due to its low cost, efficiency and effectiveness, as an Entomological and Environmental Surveillance strategy, with emphasis on social mobilization.
